What a fantastic wedding day Gemma and Cameron had. An absolutely brilliant couple with a wedding at one of the best wedding venues in the Cotswolds; Stone Barn wedding venue.
Gemma and Cameron booked one of our larger packages as they new they’d have so much to capture on the day and they didn’t want to risk missing any of it for their wedding videos. 3 Videographers on the day meant that they could get both groom and bride prep captured as well as well as having the additional wedding videographer available to film stunning scenery shots using our specialist equipment including sliders, gimbles and our drone.
Matt spent the morning with bridal party at a huge house in the heart of the Cotswolds. Working alongside one of our favourite Cheltenham based photographers Dan Morris it was a lovely prep with a lively bunch who really got the wedding day off to a lively start. Gemma looked stunning and was incredibly composed and elegant throughout the morning and in her wedding dress. Mark had fun with the groom’s party and capturing Cameron as he got ready and tried to avoid looking too nervous on camera.
The bridal party headed over to Stone Barn in a vintage bus. This gave us a great chance to get some incredibly cool looking drone shots of the bus as it travelled along the long path to Stone Barn. You can see a couple of shots in their wedding highlights video. The ceremony was perfect with the bridal party entering to the singing of Gemma’s sister. It was a lovely moment that was captured and put onto the couple’s main video.
Once the wedding ceremony was over it was time to party and this lot, fresh out of London, knew how to party. There was great entertainment during the wedding breakfast, with various singers and musicians providing entertainment that included the couple and their guests. It’s always a challenge to film love events and performances like this because as videographers you’re never quite sure what’s going to happen. Thankfully there was 3 of us so it was all hands-on deck and we managed to capture everything the couple wanted and more.
The evening was lively and the first dance good fun. The couple also opted for guest messages, and we managed to grab quite a few good ones, a treasured memory for the couple. It was a wonderful wedding and a great set of wedding videos to edit. Stone Barn, as always, was perfect.
Gemma had these kind words to say about us:
“It's just so beautiful and we're so so thankful that we opted for a video - and even more grateful that we were lucky enough to find Jumping Spider Films to film it. It's so perfect and feels like 'us', which is all we ever wanted.”
