Anyway, onto Jeyda and David…
We were recommended to Jeyda and David by one of our previous couples Louise and Dan, who’s wedding video we made a few years back. Jeyda and David loved our wedding videos and the way we operated on the day and booked us with additional drone shots for their wedding day.
The Jumping Spider wedding videographers on the day were Matt and Mark. Matt started the day filming the bridal prep with Jeyda and her gaggle of girls. They were great entertainment and even within the confined spaces of their luxury cottage Matt was able to maneuver subtly around and capture all those important bridal prep shots. Mark meanwhile was able to catch all those beautiful drone shots of Cripps Barn and also some lovely internal shots.
With guests turning up and David waiting anxiously Matt and Mark spent time getting all those guests arrival shots with Matt jumping outside before the ceremony to get the stunning Jeyda and her bridal squad arriving. The Ceremony was a beautiful led Ceremony ruled over by the Celebrant Samantha something or other…
Thankfully, the weather held off and the guests were able to enjoy themselves outside on the balcony at Cripps Barn, whilst Jeyda and David headed off with the wedding photographer and Jumping Spider videographer Matt to capture those beautiful couple shots you can see in the wedding highlights video with the sun glistening through the tress.
The wedding speeches were fantastic, and a particular highlight was David’s speech were he told some risky stories about his first encounters with Jeyda…again you can see snippets of the speech within the wedding highlights video…
The evening entertainment at Cripps Barn was some of the best we’ve encountered. There were the traditional Turkish wedding dances which was great fun to capture and to witness. The sparklers, a growing English wedding tradition also offered entertainment and are always a great feature within the wedding video. The main event, however, in the evening had to be the glorious fireworks. We were able to send the wedding drone up which really gave us some unique wedding video shots. Showing these fireworks alongside shots of wedding guests watching the show is how we like to edit our wedding videos.
We think it was well worth Jeyda and David paying that little extra for the wedding video drone service we provide as it really showcased Cripps Barn and their wedding day in a unique way. Jeyda and David’s wedding was an absolute joy to film and to edit and maybe we’ll see them at a friend’s wedding in the future.
