AYNHOE PARK WEDDING VIDEO IN OXFORDSHIRE | AMY + NICK

A beautifully elegant Country House wedding, filmed by Jumping Spider Films, at the exclusively, extraordinary Aynhoe Park estate in Banbury, Oxfordshire – a house of wonders on the edge of the Cotswolds.

If ever a love song was written for a couple, then the lyrics accompanying Amy and Nick’s wedding highlights video, must have been personally penned for them; for Amy did indeed look so wonderful in her dress that night and our cameras loved the way her hair fell on the side of her neck, down her shoulders and back.  We’re pretty sure that should she be the last thing Nick sees, it’ll be enough for him, ‘cause we are sure that she is all that he’ll ever need. This beautiful couple truly are, so in love.

And as contemporary wedding videographers, there was so much for the team at Jumping Spider Films to love about filming Amy and Nick’s simply stunning, country house, Aynhoe Park wedding.  Aynhoe Park remains one of our absolute favourite wedding venues to film at in Banbury, Oxfordshire; seriously, where else are you going to be greeted by a tiara-wearing grizzly bear, a giraffe suspended by helium balloons and a hippopotamus adorned with a giant pocket watch?!  And contrary to the amazing décor becoming a visual distraction from a beautiful bride on her big day, Aynhoe Park’s extraordinary curiosities only serve to complement the intricate details added by our couples, of which Amy and Nick were no exception.

An achingly elegant couple, Amy and Nick styled their bridesmaids in neutral shades of pale and pinky taupes and soft ivory accents, emphasised with lace overlays, tailoring their groomsmen in smart suits blended with a mix of almost blue grey charcoal tones, topped off with white rose buttonholes.

Amy looked absolutely exquisite – we could hardly turn our cameras away from her – and capturing her completely captivating smile on film became almost a full time job for our wedding videography team – her happiness simply radiating from those beautifully, beaming grins. And Nick, flat-cap wearing and clay-pigeon shooting, to throw in a few clichés, just looked as cool as a cucumber and rather like the cat who had well and truly gotten the cream!

We also loved that this couple chose to use aerial videography as part of their wedding videography package, meaning our drone team were on site at Aynhoe Park bright and early with their aerial videography kit; their high specification, high resolution drones not just simply taking flight but also taking in the beautiful aerial images of Aynhoe’s stunning Oxfordshire location, amongst the lush green, rolling hills of Banbury, adding a sense of real drama to the opening sequence of Amy and Nick’s contemporary, bespoke, wedding video.

So following a morning of the Jumping Spider Films cameras capturing the bride and groom preparation our wedding videography team combined in order to come together and film Amy and Nick’s emotional wedding ceremony, held in Aynhoe Park’s outstanding Orangery.  And it is the Orangery, later in the evening (following the wedding breakfast and some fabulous speeches in the Dining Rooms), where the party really gets going.  Aynhoe Park say it best themselves, when describing their exclusive event space, as an atmospheric wedding ceremony venue by day, then at night the Orangery transforms into a one-of-a-kind, glittering, sculpture lined dancing space; and watching Amy and Nick during their first dance, well, you don’t get more one-of-a-kind than that! A truly glittering couple, lighting up the dance floor!

This was one of those Jumping Spider Films wedding videos we knew we’d enjoy filming right from the start, a super cool couple, really happy to embrace the modern concepts of wedding cinematography; meaning we, as contemporary wedding videographers, could indulge in all of the elements we feel really work towards creating a top-notch wedding film – the bride and groom preparation, some stunning aerial videography, the complete wedding ceremony and arrival at the wedding breakfast, plenty of guest interaction, the cutting of the cake, their first dance as newlyweds and everyone enjoying the wedding reception – a real catch-all keepsake we hope Amy and Nick will treasure forever!
